The Easter Season is a Time of Renewal.
It’s a renewal of faith, strength and life. It’s also a time of family and reflection, and a time of renewed optimism that help drive us forward. Unfortunately, for some Twin Cities teens, this season is another reminder of the struggles ahead.
They’re reminded of their lack of direction, resources and safe harbors. This season, for many, is renewal of their fears of the future. And, the homeless teen population is a demographic that continues to to grow today throughout the Twin Cities area.
So, while you’re home and sharing a blessed meal with family and friends this Easter, please remember those children who are alone today and lacking the physical, emotional, and faithful nourishment we easily take for granted.
Remember them, not only in your prayers, but also in your consideration of their futures through a financial contribution so they, too, can have a renewed outlook this year.
